One of the important skills that you need to know when you become independent is to budget your money and become aware of the costs of clothing. 
  • Do you know what size you wear?
  • Do you know how much a pair of pants and a shirt would cost?
  • Do you know how to figure out the cost of items on sale?

You can download the clothing cost form, by using the link below, and try to guess the cost of each of the items on the list at your favorite clothing store.  You may want to guess the cost of each item at two of your local stores, and then check the actual prices of each item at the corresponding store.

If you download the pdf version of the clothing cost form, you can estimate the prices of items by either checking them out online at the websites listed below, or by going to your favorite clothing store and investigating the correct cost of each item.  When you are finished writing down all the prices, you can total them using a calculator.
