This section includes three sample resumes and a template (See Menu: The Resume). The importance of a resume is emphasized in the student introduction. There are also key points to writing a resume. The sample resumes have been designed to fit the experiences of most students. Previous sections of the Transition Website helped students accumulate skills and documentation to prepare them to create a resume.

Most students are unaware that a cover letter should accompany resumes. The student introduction describes the information that should be included in a cover letter. You will need to review how to write a business letter.
