Good job! This is the beginning of your portfolio. You will keep this all of your life. Right now, your most important job is to be a student. You need to learn as much as you can. Reading, writing and math are very important. Pay attention to your parents and teachers! Things you learn now will help you get the job(s) you want in the future. You will learn good work habits by helping out at home and at school.

A portfolio can be as simple as a filefolder to keep important information. Save pictures of yourself working at school and home. Pick two of the best pieces of work you have done all year. Put this work in your portfolio. This can be passed on from teacher to teacher, or kept at home.
